31 night ...its not different

31 night .... spending at the chennai central railway station....When the clock strikes twelve on December 31st, people all over the world cheer and wish each other a very Happy New Year...11:59:59 changes to 12:00:00 , 31-12-2006 changes to 01-01-2007 in all the electronic devices including my cellphone and the pcs of netcafe....i could not find any difference...its the same advertisement in the same tv screen, same babies are crying with the same trains cacophony sound, same sound of tea coffee, same persons are roaming around me without any changes...anyways the New Year symbolizes the beginning of a better tomorrow. hope any of u can make these people understand the same thing...becoz i could not....happy new year 2007 to u all.........
